KCRW's Podcast Bootcamp
The KCRW Podcast Bootcamp is for aspiring podcasters who want to take their storytelling to the next level. If you’ve wanted to start a podcast but didn’t know how, this camp is for you. If you have a podcast but you want to further develop your skills, this camp is for you. This program is designed for members of groups underrepresented in public media including but not limited to individuals of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, or Pacific Islander descent.
Taking place November 5-7 the KCRW team will lead a three-day virtual boot camp for those interested in exploring storytelling through podcasting. We’re looking for people whose voices can enhance the public media landscape.

During this virtual weekend, you’ll learn the basics of interview techniques, developing your concept, story structure, recording audio, and creating a podcast pitch. You’ll leave the Bootcamp with a promo teaser for your podcast that showcases your voice and story. Plus you’ll leave with a community of makers who are ready to help you create your vision.
