There are a number of ways to donate to KCRW! If you’re interested in using a credit card or bank account for a one-time gift or an ongoing monthly donation - you can click here.

We have two addresses that process giving slightly differently, so please read carefully and select the option that applies to you:

If you would like to donate via Donor Advised Fund, we would be delighted to answer any questions. You can connect with your advisor, and have them forward all contributions to one of the above addresses depending on the check amount (more or less than $1,200). Charitable IRA distribution (QCD)

For those 70½ years old and older, the Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) provision allows you to transfer up to $100,000 from your IRA to a charity and have it count as your required minimum distribution without increasing your adjusted gross income. Please email champions@kcrw.org for more information.

Gift of Stock

You can donate publicly traded stocks to KCRW! Giving appreciated stock to KCRW can mean tax benefits for you. If you hold stock that has gone up in value, you can get a charitable deduction for the full value and avoid paying any capital gain tax. Consult your tax advisor for details.

How to Donate Stock

If you are interested in making a gift of stock to KCRW, please contact champions@kcrw.org. After we share the transfer details with you, we ask that you respond and let us know how many shares you will be sending. E.g. “I am happy to inform you that I have initiated a transfer of 5 shares of MTN stock with an approximate value of $1525.”

Wire transfer

If you would like to process a wire transfer donation, we would be delighted to help out! Please email champions@kcrw.org for gifts of $1,200 or more. Thank you!

Corporate Match Gifts and Payroll Remittances

Your employer may match your gift to KCRW, effectively doubling or tripling your contribution without impacting your personal budget. Follow this link to check if your company is eligible.
