Connie and Pedro; The Two Proms of Carlos Kotkin; The Lonely Funeral

This week, excerpts from three of our previous episodes. One is a personal story of a family's immigration experience. Another is about a different rite of passage and two proms, ten years apart. Yet another about two friends who attend funerals of people who died alone.

This week, excerpts from two of our previous episodes. Our first excerpt, from Connie and Pedro, is a personal story of crossing the border and protecting the border. Our second excerpt, from The Two Proms of Carlos Kotkin, follows a young man's rite of passage and two proms -- ten years apart. Finally, an excerpt from the Dutch documentary, The Lonely Funeral, about two friends -- a poet and a civil servant -- who attend funerals of people who have died alone.
