LeVar Burton: Roots

Actor LeVar Burton was introduced to audiences as Kunta Kinte in 1977's Roots television mini-series and throughout his career, continued to carry out socially and culturally conscious projects. Today, LeVar discusses the 30th anniversary of PBS' Reading Rainbow, being part of the Star Trek: The Next Generation family, and producing an updated remake of the iconic Roots.
