Actor/director Emilio Estevez experienced a unique upbringing in a Hollywood family that caters to his role and film research. After delving deeper into the homeless crisis currently affecting the U.S., Estevez used these skills to write and direct "The Public", a film that showcases the refuge that public libraries provide for the homeless and the resistance they face from local governments. Today on The Treatment, Estevez shares insight on his career form acting to directing and what it is about his love for farming and travel that keeps him tethered to real world issues.
