  • CBS recently censored a musical segment on ‘The Good Fight’ that was all about China. The stated reason behind the censorship was fear for executives on the ground in China, but there’s also a business reason: China is a massive market, and one that they don’t want to risk losing. The creators of ‘The Good Fight,’ Michelle and Robert King, say they almost quit over CBS refusing to air the segment in full.
  • Producer Neal Moritz has been on board the Universal ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise since the very beginning. As the franchise continues to make even more sequels and now spin-offs, Universal would very much like to pay Moritz to go away--he’s costing them a ton of money and has a rather contentious negotiating style. Moritz, however, refuses to go and tells Universal he’ll see them in court.
