Revisiting comedian Kathy Griffin, following her film premiere at SXSW

When comedian Kathy Griffin posed for a photo holding what appeared to be the bloody head of Donald Trump, she became a pariah overnight. So she did the only thing she could do: turned her story into an act, and took it around the world.

So she did the only thing she could do: turned her story into an act, and took it around the world. We spoke to Griffin last October--before she performed her act right here in Santa Monica. That performance was taped, and turned into a comedy special that just premiered at SXSW. This week, we revisit that conversation with Griffin, who despite the well-received festival debut, is still seeking a distributor for her film.
