TV Guide magazine chief content officer Michael Schneider joins Kim Masters to discuss top entertainment news stories of the week.
- It's been a stellar summer at the box office...but only for two studios. Universal and Disney can bask in the success of mega-hits like Jurassic World and Avengers: Age of Ultron. For everyone else though, it's rough out there.
- The next and highly anticipated Star Wars movie doesn't come out until December, but the marketing machine has already kicked into high gear. Disney's Maker Studios will host an 18-hour long, online, global unboxing event where online video stars will film themselves opening new Star Wars toys.
- Netflix is working to find content for every demographic, from young kids to retirees. The one market they haven't managed to nail down is tweens and teens. They're hoping their reboot of Degrassi and Fuller House will help capture that notoriously tricky age group.
