After publishing the groundbreaking book Unsafe at Any Speed 50 years ago, Ralph Nader became a consumer advocate, speaking out against the rise of corporations as well as running for president as an Independent and for the Green party. In this week’s conversation, Nader talks about the rise of Bernie Sanders and the conditions he believes Sanders must set in order to endorse Hilary Clinton should he lose the Democratic nomination. Nader also discusses why Citizens United may have been the most important Supreme Court ruling of the century as well as why he believes we only need a small fraction of the population to be politically engaged in order to dramatically change policy.
