This Wednesday, California US Senate candidates Kamala Harris and Loretta Sanchez face off in Cal State LA for the race's only scheduled debate. It's been a largely one-woman fight between the two candidates, as polls have consistently shown that Loretta Sanchez trails Harris badly. In a bid to win over Republicans, though, Sanchez has started to openly court conservatives, stumping with San Diego-area congressman Darrell Issa and even getting endorsements from the Orange County Register and pundit Hugh Hewitt. But can this move to the Right help Sanchez win -- or will it turn off liberal voters further?
