Are the Rams Coming to Inglewood?

It's been about 20 years since the LA Rams left Los Angeles for the greener pastures of St. Louis. Los Angeles, the nation's second biggest media market – behind only New York – has gone two decades without a National Football League franchise.

It's been about 20 years since the LA Rams left Los Angeles for the greener pastures of St. Louis. A few months later, the Raiders would join the NFL exodus, returning to Oakland. And, so, Los Angeles, the nation's second biggest media market – behind only New York – has gone two decades without a National Football League franchise. Through the years, there have been numerous plans to change that. And, now, a development group that includes the owner of the Rams announced plans today to build an 80,000-seat stadium in Inglewood, which is adding fuel to a fire of talk about pro football in LA. Kevin Roderick joins KCRW's Steve Chiotakis with this week's LA Observed.
