Nate Peitso owns Maggie's Farm. This time of year he has a lot of bitter greens like frisee, escarole and kale. He likes to pair sweet fall fruits like persimmons with escarole in a salad and likes to highlight frisee in a lardons salad with a poached egg and bacon.
Akasha Richmond is the chef and owner of Akasha Restaurant in Culver City. She's excited to cook with Asian greens as well as bitter greens from Maggie's Farm.
Both Peitso and Akasha Restaurant will be represented at Localicious at the Annenberg Beach House on Sunday, November 4.
