Rice Bar Brings the Philippines to DTLA

Chef Charles Olalia was born in the Philippines, but he's been cooking in California and New York for the last 12 years. After a career in fine-dining he decided to return to his roots and explore Filipino ingredients and flavors. Together with Santos Uy he opened Rice Bar, a Filipino-inspired rice bowl concept in downtown LA.
