Evan and I in downtown LA where we were taping a segment with the folks at Urban Farming (more on that in another post). We decided to go back to Mercado La Paloma for lunch. Loyal readers will remember that Evan and I dined at Mo-Chica last week. We decided to hit Chichen Itza, which specializes in Mexican Food from the Yucatan. Gilberto Cetina, the owner, was on hand and he walked us through our meal. Evan and I ordered way too much, which is okay because we brought home leftovers…The chips (my favorite course) came with the most incredible dips: one was a kabocha squash with corn and tomato; the other was a white bean dip called I’b. We left full, and happy.
