Two weeks before her college graduation, Adrienne suffered a stroke due to an
Arterio-Venous Malformation (AVM). She was paralyzed on her right side and her speech was slurred. Her recovery took years and cooking was a big part of her rehabilitation. She learned to chop with her left hand and brace vegetables with her right.
