Shirkers RSVP
Join us for a new screening from The Document!
In the early ‘90’s...a teenage film geek and her friends in Singapore shot a movie called “Shirkers,” which was destined to be the island country‘s first cult classic. But then their adult collaborator absconded with the footage. Many years later, it turned up - and the footage and the whole story have been turned into a weird, wonderful and wildly inventive documentary. The Document will screen “Shirkers” for KCRW members on Monday the 15th in Beverly Hills. For more information and reservations, go to KCRW.com/screenings.
