Gemma Dempsey has been involved in the world of music and film since the late eighties when she worked on the soundtrack of The Last Emperor. Other Music Supervision credits include Shallow Grave, Leaving Las Vegas, Little Buddha and Dear Frankie. Moving from her native London in 1994 to Los Angeles, she began working at KCRW, where she produced Morning Becomes Eclectic and New Ground; Gemma has also associate produced a feature film Boxed as well as the first series of Sessions at W. 54th for PBS. Currently Gemma writes and presents The Global Gig Guide, an exclusive feature for KCRW.com (as well as being available as a podcast) , and produces the film and popular culture show The Treatment with host Elvis Mitchell.
