Jon Stewart's Final Show: The Evolution of 'The Daily Show'

As the Republicans staged the first debate of next year's campaign, another TV performer stepped down last night. Madeleine Smithberg was a co-creator of The Daily Show , and was involved in hiring Jon Stewart and others to be on the show.  She helps us trace how The Daily Show evolved during its 16 years on Comedy Central.
