An inmate in the L.A. County Jail says he was handcuffed for 32 hours without food and given only a cup of water. Now ten jail employees have been relieved of duty pending an investigation. The FBI also has an ongoing investigation the treatment of inmates in LA County jails. As part of that investigation, at least 12 members of the Sheriff’s Department have been convicted of crimes.
