The long-awaited opening of Clifton's Cafeteria in downtown LA's Historic Core, is coming on Tuesday. The place has been under redevelopment for several years. For decades, it was a favorite for downtown workers and goers as a respite from all the concrete outside. LA Observed's Kevin Roderick joins KCRW's Steve Chiotakis with a little history lesson about – not only Clifton's – but its founder, Clifford Clinton.
