Courtney Barnett’s debut album “Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit” came with great anticipation. The Australian songwriter had built up quite a frenzy of buzz behind her incisive style of storytelling via two EP releases. Her KCRW performance debut came in 2015, right before the album release, and she knocked it out with charming takes on “Depreston,” “Pedestrian At Best,” and “Avant Gardener.”
