Two weeks before Sharon Jones visited KCRW — in 2014 — with her band The Dap-Kings she completed a round of chemotherapy. A testament to her ferocity and fearlessness, she relished the spotlight and brought the house down. This session is joyous, powerful, and a wonderful remembrance of an odds-defying artist.
