Christopher Nolan: The Dark Knight Rises

In less than a decade, writer/director Christopher Nolan has crafted a superhero trilogy that will leave an indelible mark on generations to come. With his signature film noir style, he has infused every frame of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises with emotion, texture, and depth that is atypical of a studio action film, but all the more powerful for it.  In this interview, Nolan touches on a myriad of elements that were essential to the completion of The Dark Knight Rises, from its influences to its production design to the costumes.
